International Volunteer Group ASEZ Conducted a
Cleanliness Campaign
On March 12, 2026, the International Volunteer Group ASEZ conducted a cleanliness campaign at the
Red Cross Society Old Age Home in Sector 15, Panchkula, making the surroundings
clean and pleasant. ASEZ is a University Student Volunteer group of the Church
of God World Mission Society (led by Pastor Kim Joo Cheol, commonly known as
Church of God).
An ASEZ official said, “Young people have come together to
clean the foundation of life that God has created for humanity and to bring
daily joys to their neighbors.”
On that day, ASEZ members and volunteers enthusiastically
participated in the cleanliness campaign. They carefully inspected the
surroundings of the Old Age Home and collected various types of waste
from the area. Through their dedicated efforts, the
surroundings of the Red Cross Old Age Home became visibly cleaner and more
pleasant for the elderly residents and visitors.
During the campaign, the volunteers also had the opportunity
to meet Ashim Kumar Ghosh, the Governor of Haryana, and Ankush Miglani, Vice
Chairman of the Red Cross Society Haryana. They appreciated the efforts of the
young volunteers for taking initiative in environmental protection and
community service and encouraged them to continue contributing positively to
society.
Local citizens and staff members of the Old Age Home also
expressed their gratitude to the volunteers for their meaningful service. The
campaign not only improved the cleanliness of the surroundings but also brought
joy and encouragement to the elderly residents living in the facility.
An ASEZ member Divya said with a smile, “All volunteer
activities are carried out with deep faith and a sense of social
responsibility, inspired by the teachings of our Heavenly Mother.” The member
explained that the Heavenly Mother teaches them to love humanity, serve society
selflessly, and care for the Earth as a shared home. The volunteer added, “We
believe that true faith is expressed through service. Following the guidance of
our Heavenly Mother, we actively participate in volunteer activities to bring
positive change to society and spread the message of love, unity, and
compassion through our actions.”
The Red Cross Old Age Home in Sector 15 Panchkula serves as
a residence for elderly people who require care and support. Maintaining
cleanliness in such places is essential for the health and well-being of the
residents. This voluntary effort by the youth not only improved the environment
but also demonstrated love and care for the elderly members of society.
